Easy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
    1 medium onion, sliced and separated in rings
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place potatoes, onion rings, water and butter in a 2-quart casserole dish with cover.
    Microwave 10 to 15 minutes covered until potatoes are tender, stirring every 2 to 3 minutes.
    Drain if necessary.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese and cover to allow cheese to melt.
