Beans And Elbows - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. lima beans
    1/2 c. elbow macaroni
    small can tomato puree
    1 small onion, diced and fried in butter until browned
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Simmer over low fire until they are cooked.
    Add macaroni, tomato puree and browned onions.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Serves 4.
