Uncooked Chocolate Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. confectioners sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    4 sq. unsweetened chocolate or 12 Tbsp. cocoa
    7 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. butter or shortening
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and shortening together over hot water.
    Sift sugar and blend with salt, milk and vanilla.
    Add chocolate mixture and stir until smooth and of right consistency to spread. If mixture becomes too stiff to spread, I add a very small amount of milk and stir.
