Dr. Birdsong Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. cooking oil
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
2 c. diced ripe bananas
Preparation

Mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and sugar.
Dice bananas and add to dry ingredients, along with oil, vanilla, eggs and crushed pineapple with juice.
Mixture is stirred but not beaten.
Pour into a greased 9-inch tube pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
(Check at 1 hour to see if it is done.)
When done, let cool before removing from pan.
Dust with powdered sugar.
