Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. broccoli, cut in small pieces
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. flour
    2 cans chicken broth
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 qt. half and half
    1 c. cubed Cheddar cheese or Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Steam broccoli and onion with chicken broth until tender. Drain, keeping broth.
    Chop broccoli in food processor.
    Melt butter and add flour to make roux.
    Add broth, salt and pepper. Cook until thick and add half and half and cheese.
    Cook on low heat until cheese is melted, then add broccoli.
