Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. pecans
1 c. prunes
1 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Mix Crisco, sugar and eggs.
Mix flour, spices and soda; add alternately with buttermilk.
Add nuts and cooked prunes.
Bake in a 10-inch tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
