Zucchini Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 pt. tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. basil
    salt and pepper
    4 zucchini (about 8-inches long)
    8 oz. cottage cheese
    1 egg
    1/2 lb. Mozzarella, grated
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion; drain fat.
    Add seasonings and tomato sauce and simmer 10 minutes.
    Slice zucchini lengthwise into 1/4-inch slices and arrange the slices in an 8 x 12-inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle lightly with salt.
    Beat cottage cheese and egg together and spread on the zucchini.
    Top with half the sauce and cheese.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until tender.
    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
