Hot Sherry Crab Dip(A Winner Every Time!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. regular mayonnaise (not low-fat)
    1 scant tsp. prepared mustard
    dash of garlic salt
    2 tsp. confectioners sugar
    2 tsp. very finely chopped onion
    1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
    1/3 to 2/3 c. sherry or Sauterne wine
    1 lb. frozen crab meat or 2 (6 oz.) imitation crab (sea legs), cut in 1-inch pieces
Preparation
    In double boiler, melt cheese until soft.
    Add remaining ingredients except crab and stir until smooth.
    Fold in crab. Serve hot in chafing dish with bagel chips.
    Can make ahead and reheat at 350\u00b0 until hot.
    Serves 20.
