Carrot Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 slices bacon, diced
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic
    2 cans (13 3/4 oz. each) chicken broth
    2 c. carrots, chopped
    1 c. potatoes, diced
    1 tomato, chopped
    dash of salt and pepper
Preparation
    Saute bacon, onion and garlic until bacon is crisp.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Heat to boiling, then reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, about 20 minutes.
    Cool slightly, then pour mixture in blender; process until smooth.
    Garnish with a dollop of sour cream.
