Dump Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium tub Cool Whip
    1 small tub cottage cheese (small curd)
    1 large pkg. orange Jell-O
    16 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 large can mandarin oranges, drained (save 1/4 for garnish)
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
Preparation
    Mix first three ingredients thoroughly; add remaining ingredients and mix.
    Garnish with leftover mandarin oranges and cherry halves.
    Chill about 6 hours before serving.
