Cheesy Sausage Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cooked Polish sausage or kielbasa, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 (4.9 oz.) pkg. Hungry Jack cheese scalloped potatoes
    1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
    2 1/3 c. water
    2/3 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 c. frozen mixed vegetables
Preparation
    In a 12-inch skillet, cook sausage and onion until sausage is brown and onion is tender, stirring often. Drain. Add potato slices, contents of sauce packet from potatoes, pepper, water, milk and margarine. Mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in vegetables; simmer another 7 to 10 minutes or until potatoes and vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Serves 6. Prep time: 35 minutes.
