1888 Recipe Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. molasses
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    6 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. water
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in order listed.
    Add enough flour and mix hard.
    Roll thin.
    Cut and bake in hot oven.
    Preheat at 375\u00b0.
