Mom'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
2 sq. Baker's unsweetened chocolate
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 pt. sour cream
2 eggs, beaten

Preparation

Boil water, butter and chocolate.
Set aside to cool.
Mix sugar, flour, baking soda, eggs and sour cream.
Mix in chocolate mixture.
Pour into a 9 x 12-inch baking pan and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool.
