Escalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, shredded coarse
    1 pt. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 c. shredded cheese (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook cabbage in boiling salted water for a few minutes.
    In medium bowl, mix milk, butter and flour.
    Stir cooked and drained cabbage into sauce.
    Place in baking dish.
    Cover with bread crumbs and cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown on top.
