Cheese Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
1/2 of a 14 oz. loaf French bread, crusts removed
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/8 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
    1 garlic clove, minced
    2 egg whites
Preparation
Cut bread into 1 inch cubes. Set aside. Combine cheddar cheese, cream cheese and butter in the top of a double boiler. Cook over boiling water until cheese melts, stirring frequently. Add worcestershire sauce, mustard, Old Bay seasoning and garlic; stir well. Remove cheese mixture from heat. Beat egg whites (at room temperature) until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into cheese mixture. Dip bread cubes into cheese mixture, coating well. Place cubes on a greased baking sheet and freeze 1 hour. (Recipe can be made to this point up to 1 month ahead. When cubes are completely frozen, transfer to freezer bags for easier storage. Do not thaw. Bake on greased baking sheets as directed.) Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve hot.
