Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef chuck
    1/3 c. cooking oil
    1 1/2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. water
    1 1/2 c. green pepper, cut in 1-inch pieces
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    2/3 c. chopped celery
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    3 tomatoes, cut in eighths
Preparation
    Cut beef into very thin strips and brown in hot oil.
    Add garlic and cook until yellow.
    Add soy sauce, salt and 1/3 cup water.
    Cook on low heat for 45 minutes.
    Add vegetables and cook 10 minutes.
    Blend cornstarch with 1 cup cold water; add and stir into beef mixture.
    Add tomatoes and cook 5 minutes.
    Serve over hot, fluffy rice.
    Serves 6.
    Suitable for freezing.
