*Koulourakia(Twist Cookie) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter
2 1/4 c. sugar
6 eggs
1/2 c. orange juice
1 tsp. vanilla
6 tsp. baking powder
1 jigger whiskey
1 tsp. allspice
about 8 c. flour
Preparation

Cream butter for about 10 minutes or until light colored.
Add sugar gradually and beat again well. Add eggs, orange juice, vanilla, whiskey and allspice. Continue beating.
Mix baking powder with the first cup of flour. Add flour to the butter mixture.
Continue adding flour until you have a soft dough. Shape into desired designs and twists.
Brush tops with well beaten egg. Sprinkle sesame seed on top and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 20 minutes or until light golden brown.
