Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. rolled oats, uncooked (old fashioned or quick; I prefer the quick)
Preparation

Combine sugar, milk, butter and salt in saucepan.
Stir; bring to a full boil.
Boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla and peanut butter; stir until smooth.
Add rolled oats; mix well.
Cool slightly, until mixture holds its shape slightly.
Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
Cool.
Makes about 4 dozen clusters.
