Lemon Cake Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, separate whites and yolks
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter (soft)
1/4 c. sifted flour
1 c. milk
grated rind of 1 lemon
1/3 c. lemon juice
Preparation

Into a small bowl of mixer, put 3 egg whites and salt.
Beat on number 8 speed until stiff but still moist.
Into large bowl of mixer, put 3 egg yolks, sugar, butter and flour.
Beat on number 3 speed until blended.
Add milk slowly to yolk mixture still beating on number 3 speed.
Add lemon rind, juice and egg whites. Beat on number 1 speed only until blended.
Pour into buttered custard cups.
Set in pan of hot water.
Bake in 325\u00b0 oven about 50 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
