Heath Bar Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Stir sugar into flour and mix well.
    With pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture is like cornmeal.
    Measure out 1 cup and set aside.
    To the rest of mixture, add egg, milk, soda, salt and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Spread with topping and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
