English Muffin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    6 c. unsifted flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. corn meal (for top)
Preparation
    Combine 3 cups flour, the yeast, sugar, salt and soda.
    Heat all liquids until warm.
    Add to dry mix; beat well.
    Stir in the rest of flour real well.
    Grease pan with Crisco.
    Put corn meal in pans.
    Put in the dough.
    Cover and let rise 1 time.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Remove from pans immediately.
    Cool on rack. Yields 2 loaves.
