7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 small red onion
    2 stalks celery
    1 green pepper
    1 pkg. frozen peas, cooked and drained
    2 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 pkg. bacon, fried
Preparation
    In a 9 x 13-inch dish, cut and layer ingredients.
    Begin with lettuce, red onion, celery, green pepper and green peas.
    Seal with mayonnaise and sprinkle with sugar.
    Add Cheddar cheese and bacon.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
