Picadillo(Pronounced Picarea) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground pork
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 links andouille sausage, chopped (optional)
    2 c. water
    3 c. onions, chopped
    1 green bell pepper, chopped
    1 red bell pepper, chopped
    2 c. celery, sliced
    1 1/2 Tbsp. Creole seasoning
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
    1 squirt Tabasco
    2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes, squished
    8 oz. can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. Burgundy (any red wine)
    1 c. raisins
    1 jar capers and juice
    1 (7 oz.) can chopped olives
Preparation
    Brown first 3 ingredients and add water, then simmer for fifteen or twenty minutes.
    Saute together onions, green and red bell peppers, celery, Creole seasoning, cumin, garlic and Tabasco. Add meat, then add tomatoes, tomato sauce and Burgundy.
    Simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer 15 or 20 minutes and serve over white rice.
