Apple Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. unsifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt (can be omitted)
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 1/2 c. corn oil
    2 c. granulated sugar
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. finely chopped, pared apples
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Set aside.
    In a large bowl of electric mixer, at medium speed, beat together oil, granulated sugar, eggs and vanilla until thoroughly combined.
    Gradually beat in flour mixture until smooth.
    Fold in chopped apple, pecans and raisins.
    (I sometimes omit the nuts.) Turn into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
