Spanish Rice Pronto - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. bacon drippings or oleo
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced (about 1/2 c.)
    1/2 medium green pepper, diced (about 1/3 c.)
    2 c. Minute rice
    2 c. hot water
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 tsp. prepared mustard (optional)
Preparation
    Melt fat in skillet. Add onion, green pepper and rice right from the box. Cook and stir over high heat until lightly browned. Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes, all the time the rice needs to take all the flavor in.
