Picante Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 qt. ripe tomatoes
    5 onions, chopped
    18 jalapeno peppers, chopped
    1 c. white vinegar
    2/3 c. sugar
    8 tsp. salt
    6 tsp. garlic salt
Preparation
    Combine all and cook slowly until tomatoes are done, 30 to 45 minutes.
    Makes 6 to 7 pints.
