*Lentil Soup 1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. lentils
    4 c. water
    1 onion, chopped
    1 carrot, chopped
    1 celery stalk, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/4 c. crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Wash lentils and drain.
    Place all ingredients in saucepan. Mix well.
    Cover and cook over low heat for 45 to 60 minutes or until done.
    Add a few drops of red wine vinegar to each bowl just before serving.
