Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. juice from pineapple
    4 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Arrange 1 can sliced pineapple or crushed pineapple, cherries or nuts may be used in skillet.
    Pour batter over pineapple mixture and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
    Turn upside down on cake plate.
