Simple, Easy Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chopped chocolate or chocolate morsels (sweet, semi-sweet or a combination)
    1 c. sugar
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt chocolate in the top of a double boiler over hot, not boiling, water.
    Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients.
    Spread in a generously buttered 8-inch square pan. Chill 2 hours or until firm.
    Turn fudge out onto a cutting board; cut into squares.
    Store in tightly covered containers.
    Makes 49 pieces.
