Partin Valley Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) broiler, cut up
    1 c. Crisco oil
    1/2 c. flour
    salt and pepper
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
Preparation
    Place flour
    into
    paper
    bag.
    Salt and pepper chicken pieces on both
    sides.
    Place
    3 or 4 pieces of chicken in bag and shake well.
    Repeat procedure with remaining pieces.
    Heat oil and bacon
    drippings
    in large iron skillet to 325\u00b0.
    Add chicken and fry
    20
    minutes
    or
    until golden brown, turning once.
    Drain on paper towels.
