Cucumber Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large cucumbers
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. thick sour cream
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    3/4 tsp. chopped chives or dill
Preparation
    Peel and wash cucumbers; slice very thin.
    Place in bowl. Sprinkle with salt.
    Let stand 1 hour or longer.
    Squeeze cucumbers dry.
    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the cucumbers.
    Mix well and serve.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
