Char Siu Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 tsp. thick shoyu
    1/8 tsp. Chinese 5 spice
    2 tsp. hoisin sauce
    1 tsp. red food color
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. shoyu
    10 lb. pork ribs
Preparation
    Boil ribs in water until 1/2 cooked (about 20 minutes). Mix all
    of
    the remaining ingredients together in bowl; pour over hot,
    drained
    ribs.
    Let it soak for 3 hours.
    Charcoal over grill until slightly browned.
