Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    apples, sliced into thin pieces
    canned biscuits (butter flavor)
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. 7-Up or Sprite
    cinnamon and sugar, mixed (for sprinkling dumplings)
Preparation
    Combine 1 cup sugar, butter and 7-Up; bring to boil.
    Pour into a baking dish.
    Pat biscuits flat and fill with apple slices; fold in half.
    Place in sugar mixture.
    Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes or until biscuits are done.
