Chicken And Vegetables Supreme - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
6 chicken breast halves, boned and skinned
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
6 slices Swiss cheese (big enough to cover each breast)
1 pkg. California style frozen vegetables
1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. thyme
3/4 c. dry Stove Top stuffing mix
Preparation

Melt oil and butter or margarine in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Swirl chicken in melted fat.
Sprinkle with garlic salt and cook, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 400\u00b0.
Drain off oil.
Place cheese on top of chicken, then layer vegetables and mushrooms on top. Mix together soup, water, Worcestershire sauce and thyme.
Pour over chicken and vegetables.
Sprinkle with stuffing mix and bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 400\u00b0 or until chicken is tender.
Can be made day ahead and refrigerated.
