Bananas Flambe - cooking recipe

1/2 c. butter or margarine
2/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 firm bananas
1/3 c. brandy
vanilla ice cream
Preparation

In a chafing dish or saucepan, melt butter and sugar with cinnamon; cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, about 3 minutes.
Into a chafing dish, cut bananas diagonally into 1/2-inch slices.
Heat through, carefully turning slices to coat.
