Hash Browns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. (2 lb.) frozen hash browns
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 tsp. salt and pepper
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Defrost potatoes enough to separate into pieces.
    Combine all ingredients except potatoes.
    Add potatoes and spoon into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix 2 cups crushed corn flakes with 1/4 cup melted butter and sprinkle on top.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
