Raisin-Butter Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 to 3/4 stick oleo or butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 beaten egg
    1/4 c. corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 tsp. salt
    nuts (optional)
    1 recipe plain pastry
Preparation
    Cream oleo; add brown sugar.
    Beat together, then add egg, syrup and vanilla.
    Then add raisins, nuts and salt.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Makes 12 tarts.
