Betty'S Raspberry Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    2 Tbsp. milk
    raspberry jam
    2 c. coconut
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking powder and salt in bowl; cut in butter and add milk.
    Press mixture into buttered 10-inch pan.
    Spread with raspberry jam almost to edge of pan.
    Mix coconut, sugar, egg, butter and vanilla thoroughly and press into cake.
    Bake in moderate oven until lightly browned.
    Cut into squares while still warm to serve.
