German Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1 onion
    1 bell pepper
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, onion and bell pepper.
    Combine sugar, vinegar, celery seed, turmeric and salt.
    Bring to a boil 3 or 4 minutes. Cool for awhile, then add cabbage, onion and bell pepper.
