Cream Cheese Drops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. sweet butter or unsalted margarine
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
approximately 1/3 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Preparation

Allow the butter and cream cheese to soften at room temperature.
Cream together the softened butter, cream cheese and sugar.
Add the vanilla; mix well.
Gradually add the flour, beating in thoroughly.
Mix in the pecans.
Drop from a teaspoon onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Decorate the tops with chocolate morsels, one for each cookie.
Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for about 10 minutes.
(The cookies should be very lightly browned.) Makes 8 dozen small cookies.
