Chess Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix (not butter recipe)
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 box powdered sugar
    3 eggs
    1 stick oleo, softened
    8 oz. cream cheese, soft
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix cake mix according to box directions.
    Add oleo, 1 egg and lemon juice well and press into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix rest of ingredients with mixer until smooth and spread over first mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0
    for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Do not overbake!
    Edges will be browned and set; middle will be barely set.
    Cool before cutting into squares.
