Mama'S Egg Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
3 egg whites
4 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Separate egg yolks.
Beat these, adding 1/2 cup of the milk. In measuring cup, add the flour to the sugar.
Mix these and to the mixture, add the other 1/2 cup of milk.
Combine the 2 mixtures and stir.
Add vanilla flavoring if desired.
Pour this into a pie shell, which has been placed on the stove burner, on low heat for about one minute or just long enough to blister but not to brown. Cook the pie in an oven set at 350\u00b0 until firm.
Beat egg whites with 4 tablespoons sugar; spread this on the custard and brown.
