Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 gal. cucumbers
4 c. vinegar
4 Tbsp. pickling salt
1 Tbsp. alum
3 Tbsp. pickling spice

Preparation

Finish filling jar with water.
Cover and let soak 3 weeks. Drain and cover with sugar, 5 pounds or so.
