Ground Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 clove garlic or 1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. sliced celery
    1/4 c. uncooked regular rice
    3 1/2 c. water
    2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes, cut up
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. sliced carrot
    1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
    5 beef bouillon cubes
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    3/4 tsp. basil
    1 c. frozen green beans or 1 can green beans, drained
Preparation
    Cook beef, onion and garlic until beef is brown.
    In large pot, put all ingredients except green beans.
    Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 40 minutes.
    Add green beans, continue simmering for 10 minutes.
