Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. corn meal
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
3 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 c. buttermilk

Preparation

Mix all dry ingredients.
Add onion, milk and beaten egg. Drop by spoonful into fat and brown until crisp and browned. Drain on paper towel.
