Low-Fat Fudge Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 egg whites
    1/2 c. natural applesauce
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Spray an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
    In a medium bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, baking powder and salt.
    In a separate large bowl, cream together margarine and sugar.
    Whisk in egg whites, natural applesauce and vanilla.
    Stir flour mixture into egg mixture until combined.
    Pour mixture into prepared pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until firm.
    Cool before cutting into squares.
    Makes 12 servings.
