Stewed Corn And Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon (about 1/4 lb.), coarsely chopped
    1 c. coarsely chopped onion
    4 ears fresh corn (kernels removed) or about 3 c. frozen corn kernels
    2 c. peeled, seeded, chopped tomatoes (4 to 5 ripe tomatoes)
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    few grains granulated sugar
    few drops red pepper sauce
Preparation
    Cook bacon in an 8 or 9-inch skillet over medium heat, about 5 to 7 minutes or until crisp.
    Drain on paper towels.
