Cornish Hens With Citrus-Sage Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 medium onions, finely chopped
    2 Cornish hens, halved
    freshly ground black pepper
    1 c. freshly squeezed orange juice
    1/2 c. sherry
    1 tsp. dried sage
    2 1/2 Tbsp. orange zest
    4 orange slices (for garnish)
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Spread the chopped onions on the bottom of a baking dish.
    Place hens in a single layer on top of onions, cut side down.
    Sprinkle with pepper and salt.
    Bake for 15 minutes.
