Marshmallow Nut Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces (1 1/2 c.)
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/2 c. chopped California walnuts
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Butter an 8-inch baking pan.
    In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat sugar, undiluted milk, butter or margarine and salt to boiling.
    Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.
    Beat vigorously until marshmallows melt.
    Pour into pan; sprinkle with more chopped nuts, if desired. Cool in pan on a wire rack; cut into small squares.
    Makes about 2 pounds.
