Yeast Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 1/2 c. milk (scalded)
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs (beaten)
    5 or 6 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in the water. Mix together milk, shortening, sugar, salt and then add eggs and flour.
